Carpet (synthetic)

Blot, never scrub; cleaner goes on the cloth.

• Blot spills with a dry white cloth or plain white paper towels — printed or colored towels can transfer dye. [1]

• Apply cleaning solution to the cloth rather than the carpet, work gently from the edges toward the center, then rinse with clear water to remove residue. [1]
